The
British are coming!
The
New England Soccer School (NESS) will host the inaugural Euro/American Youth
Soccer Week,
July 25-29, featuring the English under 12 Everton Academy boys team
on tour in Boston.
Everton
was invited to play friendly exhibition matches against four of the
best youth teams in New England at NESS in Amesbury. Members of Everton plan to
take full advantage of several daytime tours including a whale
watching trip and a visit to the Museum of Science.
The
Everton Youth Academy is recognized as one of the premier
development schools in Europe and highly respected Tony “Tosh”
Farrell coaches the U12 boys. Graduates of Everton’s program are
stars such as Wayne Rooney, David Unsworth, Tony Hibbert, Francis
Jeffers, Leon Osman and Michael Ball.
“Everton best demonstrates the highly technical European
style of soccer taught here at the New England Soccer School,”
NESS president Ted Dipple said. “We share a philosophy that
stresses the importance of developing soccer skills at a very young
age to become elite players. NESS has introduced a new kind of
training here that combines the best of American and European
methods. At the Euro/American
Youth Soccer Week
there will be a European flair on the field and in the stands with a
festival-like atmosphere before, during and after matches.”
Euro/American Youth Soccer Week also will kick-off NESS’ official “Grand Opening”, which
will include Dutch Touch Soccer Camp, celebrity appearances,
promotions and giveaways at NESS, as well as cultural tours and
exchanges in and around Boston for members of Everton’s team.

Thirty-five minute halves will be played with 15-minute
halftime intermissions for each of the four exhibition matches.
Admission is only $8.00 per car.

will be separate Program Books for each evening with the interior of
the book staying the same for all. The front cover and inside front
cover will change nightly. The inside cover will have a full-page ad
for the Raffle advertiser of the
evening.
